Transferring to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign? Look no further than Scott Hall. Home to the Transfer Community, Scott Hall welcomes a mix of first-year and upper-division students looking to meet others on a similar college journey. Scott offers a quiet, laid-back atmosphere that helps students strike a good balance between social and academic life. The Student Dining and Residential Programs Building (SDRP), which features dining, a residential library and social programming, is just a short walk away. Scott is directly across the street from the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), making it easy to roll out of bed and hit the gym - or the pool!

During the academic year when students are present, the front desk will be open from 6 a.m. – 3 a.m. When the front desk is not staffed, students can still call the front desk number. The call will be answered by a calling service able to help with general questions and emergencies and assist students who may have lost their i-card and be locked out of their building and room.
