February 11, 2013 Deadline to change a meal plan for spring 2013
March 16, 2013 Undergraduate residence halls close at 3 p.m. for Spring Break
March 16, 2013 Last meal served is light lunch
March 24, 2013 Undergraduate residence halls reopen at noon
March 25, 2013 Meals resume with breakfast
April 15, 2013 Deadline to cancel 2013-2014 reassignment hall contract without the contract settlement charge of up to 75 percent of the contract amount (returning students only)
May 10, 2013 Last meal served is lunch
May 11, 2013 Undergraduate residence halls close at 3 p.m. unless participating in Commencement
May 12, 2013 Undergraduate residence halls close at 7 p.m. for students participating in Commencement
May 12, 2013 Graduate upper-division halls close at 7 p.m. for all residents who are not approved as late departures or for summer housing.
May 12, 2013 Daniels Hall officially opens for summer housing at 7 p.m.
May 15, 2013 Deadline to cancel 2013-2014 contract without forfeiting $150 advance payment (new students only)
May 15, 2013 Deadline to request preference changes for 2013-2014 (roommate, room type, or area preferences)
May 17, 2013 Sherman Hall closes at 12 p.m. noon. All approved late departure residents vacate.
August 15, 2013 Early move-in at graduate upper-division halls (Daniels and Sherman Halls) begins for fall at a cost of $30 per night until the contract begins for those residents without meal plans. Residents with meal plans are charged $50 per night for early arrival meal dates.
August 18, 2013 Early move-in begins for fall at a cost of $50 per night for undergraduate residence halls.
August 20, 2013 Move-in for residents of Living-Learning Communities who have registered for LLC Orientation.
August 22, 2013 Undergraduate residence halls open at 9 a.m. for new students. Graduate upper-division halls (Daniels and Sherman Halls) open for all new and returning students.
August 22, 2013 Meal plan begins with dinner
August 22, 2013 Deadline for new students (freshmen, transfers) to cancel for fall semester under reciprocal agreement.
August 24, 2013 Undergraduate residence halls open at 9 a.m. for returning students.
August 26, 2013 First day of classes
September 21, 2013 Deadline to change a meal plan for fall 2013
October 1, 2013 Resident Advisor/Multicultural Advocate application goes live on Housing website.
October 15, 2013 Resident Advisor/Multicultural Advocate applications due by 11:59 p.m.
November 15, 2013 Deadline to submit Reciprocal Release Application for spring 2013
November 22, 2013 Deadline to submit a room change request for fall 2013
