Traffic Monitoring Policy
Neither Housing nor the University monitors the content of traffic on URHnet. What this means is that while we will not read your e-mail, we can see that you are sending an e-mail. In this way, URHnet is a lot like the US Postal Service - we can see that you are sending and receiving data; however, for your privacy, we do not observe the information contained in that data.
An exception to this rule is that network traffic may be monitored when there is a warrant to do so. See the Campus Network Policies for more details.
