Structures and processes of international relations, trends in international politics, and the future of the international system. Credit is not given for both PS 280 and PS 281. This course is taught in PAR (where GC is located) and typically fills with both GC and non-GC students. Taking classes with GC students provides a stimulating environment where students are comfortable to engage in lively discussion in and outside the classroom.
This course satisfies the General Education Criteria for a Social Sciences course. Open to first-year students.

Join your fellow GC students in this freshman composition course focused on international students and on students interested in cross-cultural engagement. Study of the methods of exposition, the problems of argument, the use of evidence, and style; practice in expository writing.
This course satisfies the General Education Criteria for Freshman Composition I course.
Urbana South is home to four of the eight living learning communities, Global Crossroads, Health Professions, Intersections, and Women in Math, Science, and Engineering. Most Urbana South Courses are available to GC students. They offer the convenience of location and most fulfill general education requirements.
