Global Crossroads: For students with an international future, Global Crossroads is the place to live.
- Started in 2000
- One of nine living-learning communities in University Housing
- 120 students (60 men, 60 women) live together in a discrete portion of a residence hall with staff, resources, and programming dedicated to the program
- Approximately 50% international, 50% US
- Provides curricular and co-curricular activities
- Encourage students’ interest in world cultures and international events
- Helps students build cross-cultural competencies
- Allows international students to stay in Global Crossroads during fall, winter, and spring breaks
- Partners with International Programs and Studies, Title VI centers dedicated to international studies, and various colleges such as ACES, Engineering, College of Business, Fine and Applied Arts, and Liberal Arts and Sciences
- Staff include program director, resident director, secretary, and two residential advisors who live on the floors
