Civil Rights Spring Break Trip
This spring break you have the chance to go on an amazing journey to learn about the history of our country!
The Civil Rights Pilgrimage will leave at noon on Friday, March 16 to travel to Atlanta, Montgomery, Birmingham, Selma, Little Rock, and Memphis. We will visit the sites where civil rights history was made and also talk to speakers about what civil rights means in our country today. This is a trip that will change your life and inspire you to make the world a better place!
The cost for the trip is $240 plus the cost of food. The bus, hotels, and museum admissions are included in the price.
If you would like to sign up for the trip, email January Boten at botenja@illinois.edu in order to set up an appointment to fill out paperwork. The trip will be filled on a first come, first served basis. You can pay with a check, or if you live in University Housing we can charge the cost of the trip to your student account.
