Paraprofessional Staff Advisory Council (PSAC)

The group formerly known as "Resident Advisor Council" was established in 1989 to satisfy a growing need for RA representation and input within the Department of Residential Life. Over the years the group has evolved from focusing on personnel issues and policy development to serving as a social planning board to foster community within the RA staff. In the past two years Multicultural Advocates and Program Advisors have been invited to attend the group to also share their experiences and collaborate on initiatives and programs. Each staff or hall complex send a representative to regular meetings. Reps have an opportunity to serve on a leadership board, chair committees, or participate in various projects. PSAC is advised by a member of the Residential Life Professional Staff.
