Getting Hired

As a new student employee you must bring your current student ID card, your financial aid award letter (if any), and a valid Social Security card to the dining service area where you would like to work.  If you do not have a Social Security card, bring either a certified birth certificate or a passport with you.

International students with J-1 status will be able to work until the expiration date on their passport, visa document (I-20, IAP-66, or DS-2019), or letter of work permission, whichever comes first.  F-1 status students, with valid authorization, may only work in a job directly related to their field of study and may work up until the expiration date on the employement authorization document (EAD).
