March 3, 2009 Deadline to cancel 2009-2010 room reassignment contract without $2,000 settlement charge (returning students only)
March 21, 2009 Last meal served is light lunch at Peabody, PAR, and ISR
March 30, 2009 Meals resume with breakfast
May 15, 2009 Deadline to cancel 2009-2010 contract without forfeiting $150 advance payment (new students only
Deadline to request preference changes for 2009-2010 (roommate, room type, or area preferences)
Last meal of Spring Semester is lunch
May 16, 2009 Undergraduate Residence Halls close at 12 noon unless participating in Commencement
May 17, 2009 Undergraduate Residence Halls close at 7 p.m. for students participating in Commencement
Early June Fall 2009 Hall Assignment notices emailed to new students
Late July Fall 2009 Room/Roommate Assignments emailed to all residents
August 9, 2009 Summer housing ends. Daniels Hall closes at 3 p.m. for summer residents
August 16, 2009 Early move-in begins for Fall at a cost of $50 per night for Undergraduate Halls and $25 per night for Sherman and Daniels Halls until the contract officially begins
August 20, 2009 Undergraduate and Graduate Residence Halls open at 9 a.m. for new students
Dining Halls open at dinner
Graduate Residence Halls open at 9 a.m.
August 22, 2009 Undergraduate and Graduate Residence Halls open at 9am for returning students

September 1, 2009 Deadline for new students (freshmen, transfers) to cancel for Fall semester under reciprocal agreement.
September 23, 2009 Deadline to change a meal plan for Fall 2009
October 1, 2009 Resident Advisor Applications go live
October 22, 2009 Resident Advisor Applications are due
November 13, 2009 Deadline to submit Reciprocal Release Application for Spring 2010

November 21, 2009 Undergraduate Residence Halls Close at 3 p.m. for Fall Break

December 1, 2009 Deadline to nullify approval of Reciprocal Release and cancellation of URH contract

December 19, 2009 Undergraduate Residence Halls Close at 3 p.m. for Winter Break
January 17, 2010 Undergraduate Residence Halls open at 9 a.m.
