Ikenberry Dining Hall (south entrance)
- Dining hall will seat 1200 students (900 on main floor, 300 on second floor)
- Expanded A La Carte (grab & go), "57 North"
- Serveries to include a vegetarian/vegan station, a chop house, pizza ovens, and bakery
Beckwith Resident Room
- For residents with physical disabilities from Beckwith Residence Hall
- Rooms will be located on the first floor of the residence hall
- Suite-style, configured as two single rooms with a shared bath
- SureHands ceiling track system transfers resident from bed to bath
- Programmable controls for lights, temperature, and window blinds
- Emergency power outlets will provide electricity during a power outage
Resident Room
- Larger than current average residence hall room
- Individual temperature control
- One data port per person—less need for extension cords
- Loftable furniture, which can be configured different ways for unique room layouts
- One bathroom for eight to ten residents
Masterplan for Ikenberry Commons Redevelopment
- SDRP and residence hall are first phase of the plan, in which all current Champaign halls will be replaced with LEED certified buildings
- Larger community green space will serve as a residential quad
