Securing your computer for ResNet

While a fast, always-on internet connection is a necessity for most residents, it also puts your computer at higher risk for getting a virus, or other problems. In college, your personal computer is often invaluable, and losing your internet access, or even your files, can be disastrous.

For this reason, we highly recommend that all of our users take a few minutes to go through some simple steps that will help secure their computers, protect their data, and help reduce any problems during the school year.
