In our residence halls, multicultural advocates work to make the living environment safe, welcoming, and celebrative for all students. Multicultural advocates seek to create communities of allies in the residence halls by planning programs and learning events that deal primarily with diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice issues.
The staff in our University Apartments communities works to provide a positive, safe, diverse community that is welcoming and comfortable for University students, faculty, staff, and their families. Our residents come from all over the world, representing over 70 nationalities. Programs centering around our residents' home countries and cultural traditions are frequently held in our residential communities. We are truly a "World in One Community."
