Residence Hall Libraries

The Ikenberry Commons Library is OPEN for SUMMER!

The Ikenberry Commons Library will open for summer beginning Tuesday, May 28th until August 23rd, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. On August 26th, all of the libraries will reopen and will resume our regular hours for the Fall semester. The Residence Hall Libraries will still offer inter-library loan through out the summer. Items (books and CDs) from our Urbana locations may be delivered to any campus library or to the Ikenberry Commons Library for pick up.

Did you know there's a library in your neighborhood?

The Residence Hall Libraries are located in or around the University Housing Residence Halls around campus, six in Urbana and one in Champaign. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to check out our wide selection of popular books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, and video games. We have fiction and nonfiction materials and divide our collection into Biography, Job and Career, Multicultural, Diversity and Social Identity, Mystery, Personal Development, Romance, Mystery, Science Fiction, Study Guides, and Women’s Studies. We also have Living-Learning Community collections at a number of the libraries.

Our libraries provide comfortable spaces for individual and group study, and we offer programming throughout the year.
