University Housing Options

Reservations Required
The Undergraduate University Residence Halls close on Saturday, March 20 at 3 p.m. and open Sunday, March 28 at noon.
(**Only residents of PAR & ISR – Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Halls and Illinois Street Residence Halls – will be permitted to remain in their own room during the break. PAR & ISR residents must submit a break contract as well.)
Cost:
The rate for a full break package is $125.00 per person regardless of length of stay. Residents may also request to stay one night Saturday, March 20 or Saturday, March 27 at a cost of $25 per night. The non-refundable charge will be billed to your student account unless the reservation is cancelled by Thursday, March 18, 2010.
Location:
All residents requesting break housing will be housed in a limited number of converted lounge spaces in ISR (*except residents of PAR & ISR). Each lounge will have a bed, internet access, and telephone access for each break resident. Residents may also request to stay in a friend’s room if all parties sign the Break Housing Guest Agreement Form (in addition to signing the Break Housing contract). The same break housing rates apply to those staying in a friend’s room.
Reservations Required:
Deadline to return a spring break housing contract to stay in either ISR or PAR is Friday, March 12 at 12 noon. If you are interested in obtaining university break housing, complete the break housing contract form and return to 100 Clark Hall (open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday). There are a limited number of spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. After March 12, break housing will be provided should spaces remain or become available due to cancellations contact the ISR front desk directly at 333-4640 for space availability.
Any student without a break housing contract who accesses a building during a break period will be assessed the full break housing charge amount. In addition, any student who accesses a hall without a Break Housing contract will also be referred to either the Residential Life judicial process or to the University Police for trespassing.
