Your Hall Today

Old postcard of Clark Hall

Over the years, University Housing's residence halls have welcomed hundreds of thousands of University of Illinois students to their homes away from home.

Depending on when you lived with us, you may be interested to know:

  • Meal plans today are flexible, and most students choose a combination of classic meals (all you care to eat) and Cafe Credits, which are used in University Housing's on-campus locations where items are priced individually.
  • More than 98 percent of undergraduate students bring a computer with them to campus.
  • The Illini Orange building, fondly remembered by many students, has been recycled and a new dining hall and residential programs building is on the site.
